WaiBOP Football is pleased to announce an exciting partnership with Veo Technologies, a global leader in AI-powered sports recording and analysis.
The partnership will see Veo become the preferred autonomous camera provider for WaiBOP Football, with WaiBOP football development staff and referees to use Veo’s AI camera technology across the region to help develop coaches, players, and referees.
Additionally, the partnership will provide all affiliated members of WaiBOP Football with a special offer that will make purchasing a Veo camera more affordable for everyone (more information on this will be available soon).
WaiBOP Football Chief Executive, Karyn Walters said the partnership would benefit the WaiBOP football community.
“We look forward to using this technology across the region to help build the game. It’s also a great opportunity for member clubs to investigate using it as well. I’d encourage our clubs to take a closer look.”
WaiBOP Football Development Manager Ken Cresswell said the partnership would provide invaluable assistance to coach and player development.
“Veo’s cameras will be a useful tool for our team across our various development areas. Video is a key tool now in helping developers in football, as it is in all sports. We’re pleased to add Veo to our suite of tools.”
Veo ANZ Market Manager Tom Pettigrew said Veo was delighted to work with WaiBOP Football to develop football across the region.
“Veo’s goal is to make sports technology accessible to all teams and we’re glad to partner with WaiBOP Football to provide the football community in WaiBOP with access to our technology.
“The development of football in New Zealand has been exciting to watch and we look forward to watching all the coaches, players, referees and parents in WaiBOP level up and improve their game using Veo Technology.”
