Call for nominations - Wāhine and Kōhine Advisory Group

WaiBOP Football established a Women and Girls Advisory group in 2022 to help provide an avenue for the voice of those in the women and girls’ football space. The WaiBOP Football Board recently reviewed the purpose and structure of the Advisory Group, acknowledging the important role it plays.

In 2024, the WaiBOP Football board adopted a five-year Statement of Strategic Direction 2025-2030, including key objectives and performance indicators for WaiBOP Football to deliver on. WaiBOP Football have also recently developed a Gender Equity Strategy and Action Plan (due to be released in Q2). As a result, the board have established the Wāhine and Kōhine Advisory Group (WKAG) as a sub-committee of the WaiBOP Board, to support the delivery and outcomes of both fundamental documents.

Due to the new structure of the WKAG, the terms of the members of the 2024 Advisory Group have now ended. The WaiBOP Football Board thank all those who served on the Advisory Group between 2022-2024 for your mahi and dedication to women and girls’ football.

With the new WKAG, the Board are now calling for nominations for club representatives.

To make a nomination, please complete this form.

Nominations close 5pm, Friday 9 May 2025.
