Says Maaka Nelson, Papamoa FC's President: "Simon Bevin has been involved with Papamoa FC for the last seven years.

"He is a coach, committee member, gear coordinator, tournament organiser...and all round good bugger.

"It's a big job assisting with running a club on its own, let alone with all the other things thrown in.

Without people like Simon clubs like Papamoa FC would cease to exist."

Simon receives a $75 meal voucher from The Barrel Room.
